As the artist’s sole heir, the Camille Graeser Stiftung (Camille Graeser Foundation), which was established in 1981, is responsible for his artistic estate. In addition to his wife, Emmy Graeser, Anne and Willy Rotzler were also involved in establishing the foundation. After Emmy Graeser’s death in 1984, Rudolf Koella was chosen as a member of the board. The art historian wrote, among other things, the catalogue raisonné of Graeser’s paintings, reliefs, and sculptures, which was published in 1995.

Eugen Gomringer and Heinz Teufel, two foundation board members of many years, resigned in 1999. Richard W. Gassen and Beat Zoderer then became the new board members.

In 2007, the President of the foundation Béatrice Weber-Dürler and the board member Beat Wismer, who had both been part of the Graeser Stiftung for fifteen years, took their leave. Margrit Huber-Bühler took over as President, and Roman Kurzmeyer became a new board member.

Richard W. Gassen died in September 2011; Beat Zoderer decided to resign from the board at the end of March 2012. In December 2013, Ulrike Groos, Director of the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart, became a member of the board.

After thirty years of involvement, Rudolf Koella resigned from the board in November 2015. He will continue to support and advise the foundation with his expert knowledge.

Tanja Scartazzini who had been the foundation's administrator since January 2009 resigned on 31 Juli 2021. Since then, her duties have been assumed additionally by the conservator and managing director Vera Hausdorff. The art historian has been in charge of the foundation since January 2000.

On 1 September 2021, Roman Kurzmeyer took over the chairmanship of the foundation from Margrit Huber-Bühler. Margrit Huber-Bühler remains a member of the foundation board. Beatrice Hatebur was newly elected to the board of the foundation on 26 November 2022. She also takes over the role of vice president.

Since December 2022, the board of the foundation has comprised the following individuals:

Vice president: Beatrice Hatebur

Foundation board members: Margrit Huber-Bühler, Ulrike Groos, Hans-Peter Kistler
Administrator and Conservator: Vera Hausdorff, art historian
